About the Project

CargoFar is a US-based logistics and freight transportation company that required transportation management system development to modernize the way it connects with shippers, customers, carriers, and brokers. The key objective was to develop a scalable transportation management platform that eliminates unnecessary intermediaries and provides users with full visibility into their freight transportation processes.

CargoFar had envisioned a mobile-first transportation management system software that could enable customers and carriers to manage shipments directly, supported by real-time GPS tracking, transparent payments, and smooth communication.

To achieve this, CargoFar partnered with BitBreeze, leveraging our expertise in transportation management software development and logistics management software development.

The Challenges

The CargoFar team approached BitBreeze with several challenges related to transportation and logistics management:

  • The need for a reliable transportation management system to manage freight transportation operations efficiently
  • Real-time truck tracking and carrier management using accurate GPS tracking
  • A centralized solution for payments, fees, and carrier onboarding within a single logistics management tool
  • Separate yet connected interfaces: a mobile app for carriers and managers, and an admin panel for brokers and administrators
  • Seamless API integrations to support freight transportation management, payments, and external services

The Solution

BitBreeze gathered a dedicated team of 6 specialists, including frontend, backend, and mobile developers, a DevOps engineer, a QA specialist, and a project manager, to provide a scalable solution in transportation management.

We have been developing and scaling both the web and mobile versions of this freight management platform since 2023. The system now operates successfully, with our software development team still providing support and enhancements to the feature set.

The result is a one-stop freight management solution for carriers, freight brokers, shippers, and their internal teams. It is a holistic trucking management, freight transportation management, and logistics management solution all integrated into one unified ecosystem.

This trucking management system enables users to interact directly with shippers, customers, carriers, and brokers. This increases transparency in business and allows users to avoid third-party brokers in the process.

One of the important features offered in the platform is the real-time shipment management and truck management software, which is based on GPS tracking. This enables all parties to monitor freight status, optimize routes, and improve delivery reliability.

By centralizing operations, CargoFar reduced excessive brokerage fees and gained greater control over its transportation management system benefits, including cost optimization, faster decision-making, and improved customer satisfaction.
